Hello,

When I add the adobereader package from the Tranquil'IT repository to my package group, I get the error "Missing dependencies" (see attached image).
If I add the package to the self-service package manager, the self-service package updates, but the adobereader package is still not available on the user's machine.

Do you know what might be causing this?

Thank you.
Gauthier.

- WAPT version installed: 2.1.2

If you do have an adv-adobereader package in your repository, you should check its compatibility with your machine's capabilities (maturity, language, architecture (32-bit vs. 64-bit), etc.). A fairly common problem is having a 32-bit Windows machine and only having a 64-bit package.

Hi Denis,

We don't have 32-bit Windows here.
Any other ideas?

Thanks

Is the downloaded package the 64-bit package for Windows? Is the agent up to date? Is it properly imported into production (or at the correct maturity level)?

We're going to implement a graphical method to determine why a package matches or doesn't match on a given machine. But for now, we need to check the different capabilities individually.

Is the agent up to date? Yes, version 2.1.2.10652.
Is it properly imported into production (or at the correct maturity level)? Yes, imported into production.

Gauthier.

Were you able to resolve the capacity matching issue?

Hello,

I had the same problem with Adobe on several machines.
After setting the "Target Architecture" to "x64" in the packages and downloading the "x64" version of Adobe, there were no more problems. 👍
