Hello,

I'm having trouble upgrading WAPT from 2.2 to 2.3. Since my original installation is on a different partition than C:, it's not offering me the upgrade option, but a fresh installation.

Do you have a solution to this problem?

Thank you,

Dorian

Hello,

the innosetup installer (which is used to package the WAPT installer on Windows) should find the existing installation (unless the corresponding registry entries have been deleted). We don't recommend installing the server on a drive other than C:\, but it should still work.

Did you correctly select waptserversetup.exe and not waptsetup.exe during your upgrade?

Regards,

Denis

Hello,

thank you for your reply.

Could you please provide the path to the relevant registry keys so I can take a look? I have the correct installer, but it's not detecting the installation.

Thank you
. Best regards.

Good morning,

Code: Select all

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\WAPT Server_is1
Sincerely,

The specified paths are correct, yet it doesn't detect the installation.

Furthermore, I don't think it's very clean to install it on C:\; if Wapt starts to fill up my partition, my server will malfunction.
