Good morning !
I installed the new version 2.6.0.17177.
Since this morning, the Windows 11 update 2025-04 has been released and I'm trying to install it, but I'm getting the following error:

From what I can see, the installation worked, but when requesting a rescan of WUA to check the update status, the engine returns "Invalid floating point operation"

The machine should be here in pending reboot... installations are in progress here, run another scan to see?

Doing a rescan after a reboot works, but I've never had the PENDING_REBOOT status.

However, I had to run the installation twice because the first time I got the following error:

I don't know if this will help.

ERROR 1 Missing files for update is "normal."

Actually, during the scan, the KB goes into "pending" status. And every 30 minutes, the server downloads the missing CAB files.

But if the machine is the first to see this CAB file as "pending," then it won't be able to download the CAB file from the server because the server hasn't had time to download the KB file.

Previously, the machine would remain in "pending" status in this case; now we flag it as "error" because it's more logical.

Ah, okay, I understand better now.
So, indeed, if I rescan right after installation, it goes into PENDING_REBOOT.

Anyway, the "SCANNING" status is great!

It's strange because it keeps happening to me for all of them, even though the cab has already been downloaded on the first, already updated, machine

Hello again,
after trying everything, I'm still having the problem (only on Windows 11) where the KB update remains in "PENDING" even though it's properly installed.
And as with previous updates, it doesn't happen on all machines.
In my tests, it happens on 20 out of 89 machines.
This randomness is very strange.

Thanks for your feedback

Hello,

did you run another scan after restarting the machines?
