Hello,

I'd like to report a problem with Safe Exam Browser version 3.10.2.

According to the developer, this version doesn't work correctly on some machines, which we've also observed. Here's the message from the developer:

Note: Version 3.10.2, which was briefly released, doesn't work on some machines. We therefore retracted the release until we can resolve this issue.

If you installed SEB 3.10.2 and it doesn't start, first uninstall it and then install SEB 3.10.1 again.

To avoid further incidents, it would be wise to temporarily remove this version from the store until a reliable fix is released.

Thank you in advance.

Hello Christophe,

Thanks for the feedback :-) Indeed, SafeExamBrowser has removed version 3.10.2 online, along with the warning in question. The 3.10.2 package has been removed from the online version.

In fact, Luti had indeed noticed the change [1] between 2026-05-08 16:04:31 and 2026-05-11 16:00:17:

But it happens quite rarely and we have not yet put in place an alert mechanism to analyze the reason for the rollback and act accordingly (apart from the antivirus analysis usually done by Luti).

Sincerely,

Denis
